Job Title: Engineering Project Manager
Job Description
The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing Laboratory Operations activities within Lab Environments. This role involves constructing new facilities, upgrading and maintaining existing facilities, and managing technology upgrades and integration projects. The manager will collaborate closely with product business groups and other functional leaders such as product management, engineering, service, manufacturing operations, supply chain, marketing, quality, IT, and finance. The primary objective is to provide leadership and management for projects that support a product line, ensuring the delivery of superior products for customers.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and execute lab operations project plans.
+ Specify requirements for new engineering lab facilities.
+ Work with contractors and vendors to meet project specifications.
+ Oversee existing electrical and power generation labs.
+ Coordinate project management on tools and instruments.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
+ Strong project management skills.
+ Proficiency in engineering and electrical engineering.
+ Ability to work with contractors and specify project needs.
+ Understanding of engineering lab operations, ideally within medium voltage, data acquisition, or products similar to internal combustion engines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in power generation and engineering lab environments.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both new and existing lab facilities, with a focus on electrical and power generation labs. The role requires collaboration with various departments and external contractors, ensuring project specifications are met effectively.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
