    Now Hiring: Structural Engineer – Transportation Projects

    Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

    We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to take on a lead technical role in the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges and transit facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile initiatives such as the IBX light rail project connecting Queens and Brooklyn.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead structural design efforts for transportation projects, including bridges.

    + Perform complex structural planning, analysis, and design across all project phases.

    + Prepare client presentations, proposals, cost estimates, and support contract negotiations.

    + Ensure project quality, schedule, and budget requirements are met.

    + Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and establish work plans for each phase.

    + Supervise junior engineers and support their technical development.

    + Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure design intent is accurately executed.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.

    + 4–10 years of experience in structural analysis, design, and plan development.

    + Expertise in bridge design and rehabilitation projects.

    + Experience with DOT and MTA projects.

    + Proficiency in SAP2000, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and structural analysis tools.

    + Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills.

    The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
