    Position Title: Commissioning Associate (Field-Based)

    Overview:

    The Commissioning Associate plays a critical field-based role, providing engineering and technical support throughout the project lifecycle. This includes ensuring safety, maintaining budget compliance, conducting audits, troubleshooting systems, performing validation tests, and tracking project progress. The role also involves preparing reports and collaborating across teams to ensure successful project execution.

     

    

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Request, collect, and organize submittals from trade partners.

    + Assemble and brand materials for inclusion in project manuals and reports.

    + Collaborate with Facility Solutions and other Commissioning Associates.

    + Review and develop system readiness documentation, including pre-functional and functional performance test drafts.

    + Conduct field observations to verify construction status.

    + Coordinate and participate in videography efforts for owner training sessions.

    + Mentor and guide Facility Solution Associate I and II team members.

    + Execute Operational Project Readiness (OPR) activities related to MEPF technical assessments, coordination, and implementation as directed by the Manager.

    Physical Requirements:

    + Classification: Heavy Work

    + Ability to exert up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.

    + Regular activities include walking, kneeling, sitting, crouching, reaching, stooping, speaking, reading, pushing, pulling, lifting, standing, and typing.

    + Frequent movement across job sites.

    + Operation of computers, tablets, calculators, and phones.

    + Regular communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.

    + Reading and interpreting blueprints and field measurements.

    + Climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.

    + Maintaining balance while walking, standing, or crouching.

    + Bending, reaching, and grasping objects.

    + Visual acuity for reading and operating vehicles (as certified).

    + Exposure to varying temperatures, outdoor elements, and noisy environments.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.

    + Certification as a CxP or CxA.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.

    + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    + Proven problem-solving capabilities.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
