    Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

     

    We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team at our Lenexa, KS office. This role involves managing projects from sales hand-off through installation, ensuring smooth operations and successful project delivery. Candidates must be hardworking, trustworthy, reliable, and capable of thriving in a physically demanding, fast-paced work environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate hand-off meetings with the sales department and other team members.

    + Establish and communicate milestones for each project stage to meet delivery dates.

    + Manage and proactively minimize obstacles, delays, and budgetary constraints.

    + Communicate budget and schedule impacts of changes in project scope or design.

    + Balance multiple projects as directed by the Project Services Manager.

    + Collaborate closely with various departments, including application engineering, sales, drafting, accounting, and purchasing.

    Essential Skills

    + Critical thinking skills to identify needs, predict obstacles, and assess solutions.

    + Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with departments, employees, customers, and vendors.

    + Detail-oriented to ensure high-quality deliverables representing the company's reputation.

    + Budget consciousness to manage financial aspects of projects.

    + Continuous learning mindset to drive daily improvements and lead by example.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Two years of comparable work experience.

    + Must live within the Kansas City/Lenexa area.

    + Trade School Graduate preferred.

    + 4+ years of experience is preferred.

    + Previous experience with Pneumatic Packaging and Automatic Equipment projects is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position operates in a manufacturing environment and requires the use of personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses with side shields, safety footwear, and hearing protection. The role is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. A hybrid schedule is offered, with remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Kansas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.50/hr.
