Job Title: Structural CAD DesignerJob Description

The CAD Technician will support the engineering team by producing high-quality technical drawings for a variety of structural and architectural projects. This role involves drafting construction documents, managing multiple projects, applying Florida Building Code standards, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance. The focus is on delivering consistent, buildable documentation for residential renovations, remodels, and structural alterations.

Responsibilities

+ Produce high-quality technical drawings for structural and architectural projects.

+ Draft construction documents and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Apply Florida Building Code standards to ensure compliance.

+ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Work on residential renovations, remodels, and structural alterations.

+ Focus on delivering consistent, buildable documentation.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in construction document development.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD.

+ Knowledge of structural elements and connections.

+ Experience with permitting and building departments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Revit, BIM, and SketchUp.

+ Familiarity with agency comment resolution for permit approval.

+ Drafting degree preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This is an office-based, full-time position located in Royal Palm Beach, FL. The role requires the ability to work 40+ hours per week. You will report to the Director of Operations and Quality Assurance in a collaborative team setting where project ownership is encouraged. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of West Palm Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $64480.00/yr.
