    We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee lighting and mechanical renovations at several facilities. As a Construction Manager, you will lead the construction process from mobilization to closeout, ensuring successful project delivery and compliance with safety protocols.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee the entire construction process from start to finish, including mobilization and closeout.

    + Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manage subcontractors accordingly.

    + Handle construction documentation using Procore, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

    + Manage the construction schedule and daily activities of subcontractors.

    + Coordinate onsite activities, deliveries, inspections, and stakeholder meetings.

    + Prepare and manage construction closeout documents.

    + Monitor subcontractor progress and identify installation deficiencies.

    + Manage critical path schedules and update three-week look-ahead schedules weekly.

    + Call in permit and third-party inspections as necessary.

    + Lead stakeholder meetings and generate weekly meeting minutes.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or construction management.

    + Knowledge of OSHA construction safety protocols with an OSHA 30 certification.

    + Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar construction projects.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and construction documents.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PMP/CPM or equivalent certifications are preferred.

    + Experience managing industrial construction projects valued at $5M or more.

    + Strong leadership qualities and effective communication skills.

    + Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    + Strong organizational and time management skills.

    + Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    + Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.

    + Commitment to working at least 40 hours per week to meet project schedules.

    Work Environment

    The Construction Manager will work onsite at a facility in Puyallup, WA, for a project duration of approximately 13 months. The role requires managing various construction activities in an industrial environment and ensuring adherence to safety protocols and schedules. The manager must be prepared to work the necessary hours to meet project demands and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.

    This is a Contract position based out of Puyallup, Washington.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
