HIRING: LEAD INSPECTOR!!
We are seeking a Lead Inspector with a current NYS EPA Lead Inspector license to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 1–2+ years of field experience conducting environmental or hazardous material inspections and hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, public health, or a related field.
An Asbestos Inspector certification is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
+ Perform lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
+ Collect environmental samples and prepare detailed inspection reports.
+ Ensure compliance with EPA, HUD, and NYS Department of Health regulations.
+ Maintain accurate field records and documentation.
+ Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies.
+ Follow all health, safety, and quality standards during field operations.
Qualifications
+ Required:
+ Current NYS EPA Lead Inspector license (in good standing).
+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
+ 1–2+ years of relevant field or laboratory experience.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
+ Preferred:
+ NYS Asbestos Inspector certification.
+ Familiarity with lead-safe work practices, sampling methods, and related environmental regulations.
+ Experience using data collection tools and field inspection software.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
