Overview:
Our client is seeking a Project Manager/Engineer to oversee pump repair, modification, and upgrade projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate all aspects of project execution—from technical evaluation and quoting through manufacturing, testing, and delivery—while serving as the primary liaison between the company, their customers, and internal teams.
Description:
+ Manage all phases of assigned pump repair or modification projects from initiation to completion.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications.
+ Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and documentation on Non-Safety and Safety-Related Jobs.
+ Review technical manuals, drawings, and specifications to determine repair or modification scope.
+ Generate detailed quotes, as-found reports, and work instructions for Government, Commercial, and Nuclear Repairs.
+ Maintain project progress using Smartsheet or equivalent tools.
+ Coordinate with Engineering, Machine Shop, and other departments to allocate shared resources.
+ Procure required materials, components, and outside services.
+ Attend production and technical meetings to monitor and report on job status.
+ Ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety policies at all times.
+ Provide consistent and timely updates to management and customers.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or related field (preferred)
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
+ Familiarity with industrial pumps, nuclear generating stations, or rotating equipment repair (strongly preferred).
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (testing may be required).
+ Strong technical comprehension, including the ability to read engineering drawings.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Positive attitude, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced industrial setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $105000.00/hr.
