Job Title: Project Controls SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Controls Specialist to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and cost controls within the oil and gas industry, particularly in natural gas projects. This role requires a deep understanding of Excel and, ideally, experience in the pipeline industry.
Responsibilities
+ Provide project coordination and cost controls support for oil and gas/natural gas projects.
+ Collaborate with engineering project managers and engineering teams to ensure project success.
+ Manage and analyze project costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
+ Utilize Excel for data manipulation, including the use of pivot tables, to handle large datasets.
+ Support the management of 30-40 projects simultaneously, ranging from $2 million to $100 million in spend, with some projects reaching 10 figures.
+ Perform quality assurance and cost analysis to maintain budgetary constraints and enhance project outcomes.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in project cost controls.
+ College degree in business, finance, construction management, accounting, or similar fields.
+ Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables and data manipulation.
+ Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the pipeline industry.
+ Advanced knowledge of Excel.
+ Experience with SAP/ERP systems.
Work Environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $50.00/hr.
