Job Title: Manufacturing Cost EstimatorJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Cost Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in interpreting customer requests for quotes (RFQs), machining, and welding drawings to determine the scope and requirements necessary for accurate and timely estimates.
Responsibilities
+ Interpret customer RFQs, machining, and welding drawings to determine scope and requirements.
+ Develop detailed cost estimates using internal data and supplier quotes.
+ Complete and maintain cost sheets for each quote and quote revisions.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to obtain pricing for materials, subcontracted services, and components.
+ Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to ensure accurate and feasible estimates.
+ Ensure all estimates are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
+ Maintain organized records of quotes, the quote log, and supporting documentation.
+ Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in estimating within a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications, including GD&T.
+ Experience with ERP systems, Epicor ERP E10 is a plus.
+ Familiarity with CAD software, SolidWorks experience is a plus.
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
+ Working knowledge of computers and business software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in machining processes such as turning, milling, cylindrical grinding, hobbing, and broaching.
+ Experience in welding processes such as MIG and TIG.
+ Experience in assembly processes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/hr.
