    Job Title: Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect / DesignerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a talented and motivated Architectural Project Manager / Project Architect / Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Architecture or a similar degree and have excellent knowledge of building codes for multi-family projects. This role requires proficiency in Revit and a working knowledge of construction document preparation. The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter capable of hitting the ground running.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage multiple filings and drawing sets for large preservation and rehabilitation multifamily projects across the NY Metro Area.

    + Oversee a team of junior architects and consultants, ensuring project deadlines are met.

    + Maintain and manage client relationships effectively.

    + Visit sites to assess field conditions and develop practical solutions.

    + Produce drawings and specifications for the renovation and restoration of thousands of apartments around New York City and the region.

    + Conduct site visits to take measurements and photographs of existing conditions.

    + Design, detail, and draft architectural plans.

    + Travel to field sites as necessary.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

    + Experience in multi-family, commercial, and NYCHA projects, particularly in NYC.

    + Knowledge of historic preservation and rehabilitation.

    + Ability to manage construction documents and adhere to building codes.

    + Project management skills and experience in design development.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Licensed Architect (preferred but not required).

    + Experience with construction administration.

    + Ability to manage existing conditions and project management.

    The work environment offers a hybrid work policy, with three days in the office and two days from home. The office is based in Suffern, NY, with most projects located in NYC.     This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Suffern, New York.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
