    Job Title: RF Test Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a RF Test Technician where you will contribute to the design, development, documentation, and production of RF and Microwave components for the telecommunications industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to testing and optimizing both active and passive devices, ensuring high-quality products for our clients.

    Responsibilities

    + Follow established test procedures and complete comprehensive test reports for products.

    + Troubleshoot and optimize discrete Power Amplifier Modules and Low Noise Amplifiers during prototype and production stages.

    + Define and construct test setups to measure VSWR, Gain, Group Delay, Phase Variation, IP3, compression points, Noise Figure, and Harmonics for Narrow and Broad Band High Power Amplifiers.

    + Perform RF testing using Network Analyzers, Power Meters, and Noise Figure Meters.

    + Define and construct test setups to measure VSWR, Insertion Loss, Group Delay, and Phase Variation for Passive Filtering products.

    + Test and optimize DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) related systems, including Bi-Directional and Tower Mounted Amplifiers for Public Safety and Carrier applications.

    + Read and understand electronic and mechanical blueprints.

    + Communicate technical information effectively internally and with clients.

    + Manage tasks and priorities simultaneously, adapting quickly to changes in production requirements.

    + Document new designs for future repeat orders.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of hands-on experience in testing and optimizing active and passive discrete RF components is a must.

    + Proficiency in component-level testing and troubleshooting.

    + Expertise in using testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and other laboratory test equipment.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Ability to read and speak English fluently.

    + Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

    + Experience with reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules and operating procedures.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus.

    + Experience with hands-on test equipment like Network and Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, and Noise Figure Meters.

    You will be part of the RF Test Technician team, working collaboratively to support the company's significant growth and introduction of new products. You will report directly to a senior team member and work in a dynamic environment that values innovation and teamwork.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Fair Lawn, New Jersey.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
