Now Hiring: Electrical Designer – Building Systems

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Designer to lead complex building systems projects across lighting, power, and distribution. You’ll work independently and alongside senior engineers to shape high-performance environments—from concept through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead the design of electrical systems using company standards and project-specific logic.

+ Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and ComCheck lighting compliance.

+ Coordinate layouts for advanced electrical rooms and complex systems.

+ Apply NEC, NFPA, and energy codes with fluency.

+ Attend client-facing meetings and lead documentation efforts.

+ Review shop drawings and provide redlines and mentorship to junior engineers.

+ Support onboarding and contribute to a culture of technical excellence.

Required Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

+ 4+ years of electrical design experience across building types.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

+ Expertise in lighting, power, and systems design packages.

+ Strong communication and coordination skills.

+ Familiarity with EIT or PE certifications (preferred).

+ Ability to mentor and review junior staff.

+ Hybrid schedule: 1–2 days remote.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
