    Job Title: Civil Engineer – Site Development

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our growing team, specializing in site development projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. This role involves designing and managing civil infrastructure for new developments, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout. You’ll work closely with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions that meet project goals and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop site civil designs including grading plans, stormwater management systems, utility layouts, and erosion control.

    + Prepare construction documents, specifications, and permit applications.

    + Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies.

    + Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and approvals.

    + Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to integrate civil designs with architectural and structural plans.

    + Support project management tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.

    + Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to produce accurate and efficient deliverables.

    + Participate in construction administration, including site visits and responding to RFIs.

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

    + 2+ years of experience in site development or land development projects.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design tools.

    + Strong understanding of local codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.

    + Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.

    + Experience with stormwater modeling software (e.g., HydroCAD, SWMM).

    + Familiarity with sustainable site design and low-impact development practices.

    + Experience working on projects in Wisconsin or the Midwest region.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00/hr.
