Job Title: Federal Construction Manager

Job Description

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) will oversee and implement the three phases of control—Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up—for federal construction and renovation projects at Joint Base Charleston. This role ensures compliance with contract specifications, design drawings, and all applicable regulations. The QCM will lead weekly preparatory, safety, and coordination meetings, and manage quality control documentation and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

+ Ensure compliance with contract specifications, design drawings, and applicable regulations.

Essential Skills

+ Construction quality control

+ Construction management

+ Minimum of 10 years of federal construction experience

+ Experience in civil/site/utilities, historic buildings, and federal projects

+ USACE C-QCM Certification

+ OSHA 30 certification

+ Site safety

+ Request for Information (RFI) processes

+ Project management

+ Construction inspection

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong organizational and communication skills

+ Ability to obtain federal clearance

Work Environment

This role is based on the jobsite at Joint Base Charleston, providing an opportunity to join an 8(a) contractor on a sizeable project. The work environment emphasizes safety, quality control, and coordination among various teams.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
