    Medical Assistant

    Job Description

    The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role during patient visits by accompanying the dermatologist in the room and fostering a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

    Responsibilities

    + Room patients and document all vital information.

    + Scribe information for the dermatologist.

    + Perform blood draws and specimen collection.

    + Clean and stock exam rooms.

    + Schedule patient appointments.

    + Conduct triage and follow up with patients.

    Essential Skills

    + Medical assisting experience of at least 1 year.

    + Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

    + Experience in rooming patients and medical procedures.

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in Dermatology or Specialty Practice preferred.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

    + Willingness to support multiple providers.

    + Consideration for LPN or RN candidates interested in the position.

    Work Environment

    Work hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, and Wednesday from 6:45 AM to 4:30 PM. This position includes travel on Tuesdays, with travel pay included. The role involves working in a dynamic clinic environment, supporting various providers.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
