Contract Opportunity: Neurodiagnostic Tech (Sleep Technician)

Pay Range $33.50 to $38 per hour DOE

About the Role
As a **Sleep Technician** , you will be responsible for overnight polysomnographic testing, patient hook-ups, and ongoing monitoring and data collection. You'll operate state-of-the-art neurodiagnostic equipment, support patient needs throughout the sleep study, and collaborate with a passionate, knowledgeable team.

What You’ll Do
+ Set up and calibrate neurodiagnostic equipment in accordance with international guidelines.
+ Apply electrodes and sensors using AASM/universal standards.
+ Perform CPAP/BiPAP titration and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
+ Recognize and resolve artifact during data collection to ensure accurate results.
+ Accurately document all procedures, observations, and patient interactions.
+ Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout overnight studies.
+ Respond promptly to patient care needs and unexpected events.
+ Administer medications per physician orders following all hospital protocols.
+ Prepare detailed technologist reports post-study.
+ Maintain a flexible schedule that may include day, evening, or overnight shifts.
Required Education & Background
+ Graduate of an **Electro Neurodiagnostic program** (Required)
+ High school diploma or GED (Minimum Requirement)
+ 1 yr. minimum related work experience
Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficient in all aspects of polysomnographic testing
+ Knowledge of sleep disorders and the latest diagnostic technologies
+ Strong decision-making, communication, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a clinical setting
+ Comfortable with electronic systems and clinical software
Certifications
+ **BLS - Basic Life Support** (Required)

**Pay Details:** $33.50 to $38.00 per hour
