• Mechanical Designer

    Actalent (Trenton, NJ)


    Job Description:

    + Design modules of products using SolidWorks.

    + Optimize designs for cost efficiency.

    + Participate in prototyping and integration of modules into overall products.

    + Design from concept descriptions within defined boundaries.

    + Work with basic machine type parts such as milling, drilling, tapping, sheet metal, mechanical fasteners, and cable harnesses.

    + Create outline drawings for electronics, when required.

    Requirements:

    + Must be proficient in SolidWorks PDM

    + At least 5+ years experience in mechanical design, particularly in fixtures, product, and or electromechanical design.

    + BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not required

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.00/hr.
