    Phlebotomist

    Job Description

    A local hospital is seeking to build out a phlebotomy team that will work as an integral extension of the nursing team.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform phlebotomy procedures.

    + Conduct vital sign checks as needed.

    + Assist with patient mobility in limited circumstances as needed.

    + Stock supply closets during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in phlebotomy verified by references.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Medical Assistant experience.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a lab setting within a leading hospital in West Knoxville. Known for its specialization in elective procedures, the hospital is colloquially referred to as the 'country club' of hospitals in the area. This position offers a long-term contract, collaborating closely with hospital administration. Enjoy 40 hours of PTO in the first 9 months and 60 hours of PTO offered every 6 months.

    + Thursday-Saturday (3 12s) 7p-7:30a

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
