Overview
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team as a **Senior Auditor or Audit Manager** , depending on current experience and qualifications. This role offers the opportunity for growth and promotion within a respected, client-focused public accounting firm.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Plan, perform, and review financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse range of clients, including governmental entities, nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and retirement plans.
+ Prepare for and lead audit fieldwork, managing and mentoring audit staff throughout the engagement.
+ Review workpapers and ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
+ Prepare and finalize financial reports and related documentation.
Secondary Responsibilities (as applicable)
+ Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses during tax season.
Qualifications
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
+ Strong background in audit and financial reporting.
+ CPA certification preferred (or significant relevant experience in lieu of licensure).
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits
+ **Salary:** $85,000 – $120,000 based on experience.
+ **Paid Time Off:** 152 hours of PTO per year.
+ **Flex Time:** One flex day per week from May 1 – July 31.
+ **Overtime Pay:** Eligible for overtime from February 1 – April 15 if performing tax preparation work (based on actual hours worked).

**Pay Details:** $85,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
