Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic financial services environment. The ideal candidate will excel in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoice processing, while also demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for multiple clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Process and post invoices daily, handling a high volume of transactions efficiently.

• Communicate professionally with clients to address inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for various accounting tasks and reporting.

• Learn and adapt to proprietary accounting software through provided training.

• Perform thorough data entry to maintain accurate financial records.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational efficiency.

• Support billing activities to ensure accurate and timely invoicing. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

• Strong skills in invoice processing and data entry.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

• Effective communication and customer service abilities.

• Knowledge of account reconciliation is a plus but not required.
