    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in South Fulton, Georgia. In this role, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth communication between departments and maintaining accurate records. This position is ideal for a highly organized individual who excels in managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and providing exceptional support in a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for receiving and relaying messages between citizens, customers, staff, and city personnel.

    • Maintain and organize departmental files related to daily operations, purchasing, inventory, and other general activities.

    • Prepare, sort, and distribute postal and interdepartmental mail to the appropriate recipients.

    • Act as a liaison to facilitate communication between the assigned department and other departments, staff, city officials, community leaders, and external organizations.

    • Schedule and coordinate arrangements for meetings, including room reservations, setup, refreshments, and required equipment.

    • Record, transcribe, and manage documentation such as correspondence, statements, meeting minutes, and other relevant information.

    • Process departmental documentation in accordance with established procedures and within designated timeframes.

    • Review, record, and distribute documents to appropriate departments and ensure accuracy and timeliness in data handling.

    • Input data into computer systems and maintain accurate logs and records of departmental activities, including tracking vacation leave when necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative assistance or a related role.

    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to answer inbound calls professionally and relay information effectively.

    • Proficiency in calendar management and scheduling tasks.

    • Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate meetings, including room and equipment setups.

    • Familiarity with record-keeping and data entry processes.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

    • Knowledge of home health processes is an asset but not required.
