Job Title: General Production Worker

1st Shift - $18/hr

Job Description

Join a leading global materials manufacturer and supplier to the electronics, semiconductor, thin film, thermal management, and solar industries. As a General Production Worker, you will contribute to the production of specialized solders, brazes, thermal interface materials, pure metals, and sputtering targets.

Responsibilities

+ Observe all safety and security requirements.

+ Operate machines and other equipment for product processing, which may include assembly, chemical additions, extrusion, and packaging functions.

+ Work with a variety of metals to melt and create casts, and work with chemicals to fabricate final products.

+ Follow written procedures and work instructions.

+ Read and interpret drawings and diagrams with assistance, as needed.

+ Complete required documentation to track work, record scrap, and maintain the accuracy of completed parts and inventory.

+ Uphold the standards necessary to maintain business certifications and quality standards.

+ Sustain a steady work pace and follow a schedule.

+ Perform rework as needed.

+ Use support tools such as mics, gauges, and unique testing equipment.

+ Produce quality products with minimal scrap.

+ Attend training as needed or assigned.

+ Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, general labor, or general production roles.

+ High school diploma or GED; two years of verifiable work experience may be considered in lieu of education.

+ Good oral and written communication skills; English proficiency desired.

+ Basic math skills and computer literacy.

+ Basic organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Successful completion of a Production Operator Trainee role can be considered.

+ Experience with machinery and quality control in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
