1st shift maintenance technician
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multicraft Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. This role requires expertise across multiple trades—including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems—to ensure the safe and efficient operation of facility and production equipment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with a strong technical skills and a proactive approach to equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair equipment including motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, sensors, and PLCs.
+ Diagnose issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and perform necessary repairs.
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
+ Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
+ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in hydraulics, PLC troubleshooting, and general troubleshooting.
+ Knowledge of pneumatics, industrial maintenance, and electrical maintenance.
+ Experience with 3-phase systems, welding, and fabrication.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLC).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment, experiencing hot conditions in the summer and cold in the winter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mableton, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
