Job Description

Join our dynamic team in the Digital Department, where you will manage the operation of a digital printing machine. This role requires setting up the machine, monitoring its performance, and ensuring the smooth production of printed materials. Unlike traditional printing presses, our digital presses involve less manual work. You will be trained to load paper rolls, input orders into the computer system, and handle light lifting up to 20 lbs. The position primarily involves standing and overseeing the machine's operation. Assistance from an on-site technician is available for any technical issues.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and monitor the digital printing machine for efficient operation.

+ Load paper rolls into the machine without heavy lifting.

+ Input orders using basic computer skills and oversee the printing process.

+ Count and stack finished products at the end of the machine.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to operate a computer for basic tasks such as opening PDF files or emails.

+ Capability to stand for extended periods while monitoring machine operations.

+ Basic ability to count to ten for product stacking.

+ Experience of at least one year working continuously with one company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in printing (Press, Digital, or Flexo) is a plus.

+ Strong attendance record backed by references.

+ Flexibility to volunteer for overtime when available.

Work Environment

You will work in a large, well-lit, and clean production facility, which is climate-controlled and humidity-regulated to ensure optimal printing conditions. The environment is lively with multiple machines running, making it a noisy yet organized space. Adherence to a dress code that includes closed-toed shoes and no dangly jewelry is required to ensure safety. The facility hosts frequent client tours, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a tidy appearance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartland, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
