    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to safely operate various heavy equipment in a coal mining environment. This role requires expertise in equipment operation to maximize productivity while ensuring safety standards are maintained.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely operate heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, skid steers, tractors, bay loaders, bulldozers, excavators, graders, haul trucks, and drills.

    + Work in all areas of the mine as needed, including process areas.

    + Utilize equipment to maximize productivity and minimize wear and downtime.

    + Perform and document pre-shift and post-shift inspections of mobile equipment and work areas.

    + Maintain safe working conditions and ensure all crewmembers and others on the site follow safety and regulatory procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience operating D9 and D10 dozers.

    + Heavy equipment operation skills, including dozer, forklift, skid steer, excavator, and backhoe operation.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $69780.00/yr.

     

    AM has benefits package. Will be a direct hire.

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Davant,LA.
