    Job Title: Yard Driver

    Key Responsibilities

    + Operate yard truck to safely move trailers between dock doors and yard locations

    + Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance

    + Coordinate with warehouse and dispatch teams to maintain trailer flow

    + Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and yard inventory

    + Spot and retrieve trailers to support loading/unloading schedules

    + Conduct routine checks for trailer readiness, including seal integrity and load security

    + Report mechanical issues and assist with minor trailer maintenance

    + Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies

    Qualifications

    + Valid CDL (Class A or B preferred, depending on company requirements)

    + Previous yard driving or trailer spotting experience preferred

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills

    + Must pass a drug test and background check

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.

     

    Stoughton Trailers is one of the largest manufactures of custom semi-trailers in the world. Their top clients include FedEx, UPS, and Amazon. Business has grown 8%-10% annually year over year with the advance of online sales and shipping needs.
