    • Job Title: Weekend Production Associate

    **Department:** Deburr, Powder Coat & Finishing

    **Shift:** Friday – Sunday, 5:00 AM – 5:30 PM

     

    Job Overview

     

    We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined individual to join our production team for the weekend shift. This entry-level role focuses on deburring, powder coating, and finishing metal components. If you enjoy working with tools, staying active, and contributing to a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is the opportunity for you.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Use hand and small power tools to safely remove burrs and create edge breaks

    + Inspect part dimensions to ensure adherence to blueprint specifications

    + Read and interpret blueprints to verify part configuration

    + Operate measuring equipment such as gauges, scales, and calipers

    + Pretreat, clean, mask, prime, and powder coat various metal parts

    + Assist with manual material handling and lifting tasks

    + Load parts onto production lines to maximize capacity

    + Apply plugs and tape to parts as needed

    + Use grinders to prep materials for welding

    + Support sanding, grinding, and deburring of steel components

    + Participate in cross-training within the machining department (machine setup, loading/unloading)

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area

    + Follow all safety procedures and company policies

    Required Skills

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools

    + Ability to read blueprints and use measuring instruments

    + Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

    + Comfortable with heavy lifting and physical labor

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience deburring and grinding metal parts

    + Background in welding or fabrication environments

    + Familiarity with powder coating processes

    + Previous experience in general labor, construction, or manufacturing

    Physical Requirements

    + Must be able to stand for extended periods

    + Capable of lifting and moving heavy materials throughout the shift

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
