    Job Description

    As a Mobile Maintenance Technician, you will operate, inspect, and maintain all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. Your role is crucial in ensuring these systems are operating efficiently and safely, thereby extending their life expectancy. You will be responsible for performing inspections and repairs on both the interior and exterior areas of properties, which include walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting. This position requires you to cover a 2-hour radius from the base location and will be provided a work vehicle.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.

    + Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior as it pertains to assigned buildings.

    + Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.

    + Effectively respond to all emergencies.

    + Prepare and submit management summary reports listing conditions found during work, recommending actions to be taken.

    + Study and become familiar with equipment and methods required for daily activities, including building automation and fire/life safety systems.

    + Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping and safety in work areas.

    + Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.

    + Support after-hours building-related activities as required.

    + Attend periodic training seminars.

    + Perform other operational tasks typically expected of the Mobile Engineer role.

    Essential Skills

    + EPA Type II Certification

    + Minimum of four years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance.

    + Valid state driver’s license

    + Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 feet.

    + Capability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Universal EPA 608 Certification (preferred)

    + Knowledge of MEP/HVAC system design and application

    + Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology

    + Two years of trade school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVAC 3rd Party Certification (preferred)

    Work Environment

     

    This role involves physical work, including lifting up to 80 lbs., working from heights, frequently climbing, bending, kneeling, and working in adverse conditions such as extreme cold or heat. It requires driving for long periods and climbing ladders with a weight limit of 300 lbs. The position demands flexibility to be available for call-in work and to perform duties outside of regular hours when necessary.

    This is a Contract position based out of Olympia, Washington.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
