Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to efficiently manage inbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by verifying shipments, handling materials safely, and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
+ Receive inbound shipments and verify contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and ASN documentation.
+ Unload and stage incoming goods safely using manual handling equipment; inspect for damage, defects, or discrepancies.
+ Count quantities and compare with purchase orders; document variances and communicate issues to the supervisor and purchasing team.
+ Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP with accuracy; print and attach receiving paperwork.
+ Label, sort, and route goods to designated storage locations; ensure proper put-away while maintaining first-expire/lot-control where applicable.
+ Handle damaged or non-conforming items, including tagging and coordinating returns or disposition with suppliers.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and annual audits.
+ Coordinate dock scheduling with carriers, schedule appointments, and communicate delays or issues.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area; follow all safety procedures and use PPE as required.
+ Operate scanners and other warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks; forklift certification preferred or required.
+ Communicate effectively with procurement, quality, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
+ Assist with light warehouse tasks as needed, including shipping support, kitting, or light assembly.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in inventory, shipping and receiving, and cycle counts.
+ Proficiency in inventory control, RF scanner operations, data entry, and Excel data entry.
+ Strong communication and people skills.
+ Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
+ Capability to bend, reach, and climb as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required. An associate degree or relevant coursework in logistics/operations is a plus.
+ 1–2 years of experience in warehouse receiving or inbound logistics preferred; entry-level candidates with strong potential may be considered.
+ Basic computer skills; experience with WMS/ERP systems and barcode scanning; proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
+ Forklift certification required (employer will assist in obtaining certification if necessary).

Work Environment
The work environment is a structured warehouse setting operating on the first shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Employees are expected to adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, and maintain a clean and organized work area. The role involves using technology such as RF scanners and operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
