    Job Title: Fabricator

     

    Pay: $17-19/hour dependent on shift

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker on the 2nd shift, where you will play a crucial role in assembling high-quality polymer insulators. You will work on the production line, perform basic crimping tasks, and cross-train in various roles to enhance your skill set.

    Responsibilities

    + Work on the production line, assembling polymer insulators with precision and efficiency.

    + Perform basic crimping tasks; training will be provided if necessary.

    + Utilize hand tools or power tools effectively; prior experience is preferred.

    + Engage in cross-training to learn and perform different roles within the production process.

    + Manage and operate molding machines to produce high-quality polymer insulators.

    + Perform packaging and assembly tasks, ensuring products meet company standards.

    + Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in general production, assembly, or mechanical aptitude.

    + Proficiency in using hand tools or power tools.

    + Flexibility to work in various roles as a floater on the production line.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Material handling and machine operation skills.

    + Experience with inspection and quality checks.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate controlled production facility, where conditions can be very hot during the summer. Employees are allowed to keep water at their work stations to stay hydrated. The facility operates multiple shifts, providing flexibility in working hours.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
