Job Description
Join our dynamic welding team and contribute to the manufacture and marketing of auto parts. Our products include mufflers, silencers, exhaust tubes, and hydraulic assemblies. We offer a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel components.
+ Interpret and work from blueprints and welding symbols.
+ Prepare materials and set up welding equipment prior to welding.
+ Ensure the quality and strength of welds through diligent inspection and adherence to safety standards.
+ Work efficiently in various welding positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
+ Operate welding machines and tools, ensuring minimal distortion or warping.
+ Comply with OSHA regulations and other safety standards related to welding.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
+ Experience with welding materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
+ Strong understanding of welding safety precautions and OSHA regulations.
+ Capability to work 50 hours per week and pass a MIG/TIG weld test.
+ Possession of a welding helmet and gloves.

Work Environment
+ Work in a large, clean warehouse spanning 256,000 square feet, where safety is the top priority.
+ Each welder is provided with an individual booth equipped with a snorkel system to vacuum welding debris.
+ While all personal protective equipment is provided, candidates are required to have their own welding helmet and gloves.
+ Choose from various departments such as Sheet Metal, Tubular, and Prove Design (Fabrication & TIG).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
