    Job Title: Batch Technician

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Batch Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in the production of diverse hot sauces. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with supervisors and team members, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

    Responsibilities

    + Collaborate with supervisors to add frozen ingredients into large production mixers.

    + Utilize a computer to read and follow ingredient lists and batching materials.

    + Collect and prepare correct ingredients for production runs.

    + Mix batches accurately according to recipes.

    + Lift and handle ingredients consistently, weighing between 30-50 lbs.

    + Perform cleaning duties and dispose of packaging materials.

    + Prepare for future production batches during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in a general production environment.

    + Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly.

    + Basic computer interaction skills.

    + Capability to follow instructions accurately.

    + Demonstrated good job tenure.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to work in a clean, food-producing environment with consistent odors from vegetables, vinegars, and spices.

    + Previous overnight working experience.

    + Openness to gaining certifications for skill enhancement.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is on the 2nd shift, operating Monday through Friday from 1:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays and overtime due to increased demand. You will work in a colder environment with spice and vinegar odors, interacting with a team of approximately 33 production associates. The atmosphere is dynamic, with shifts varying as team members come and go.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
