    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    As a Food Production Associate/Operator, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processing lines and machinery. Your responsibilities will include unloading and loading materials, following precise recipes, weighing and measuring raw ingredients, operating equipment, packaging the final product, and performing quality checks to meet company and customer standards. You will assist in various areas of the production process as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload incoming shipments to supply production operation, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

    + Follow production specifications to ensure the quality of the end product.

    + Operate various food production machinery and assist in different production areas.

    + Handle, weigh, measure, and store raw materials and dry ingredients.

    + Perform operator adjustments, observe settings, and adjust controls to maintain prescribed operating conditions.

    + Adhere to all SOPs and company specifications to ensure quality standards are met.

    + Maintain production records, including data on weight, amount processed, downtime, and processing times.

    + Complete additional tasks as required or assigned, showing flexibility in various production areas.

    + Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and all other company regulations and safety practices.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of manufacturing/production experience

    + 6+ months of food manufacturing experience with knowledge of food handling and GMPs

    + 2+ years of machine operating experience

    + Ability to operate a forklift

    + Experience in packaging and food manufacturing

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanical inclination

    + Experience in the food manufacturing industry

    + Knowledge of safe food handling practices

    + Ability to follow recipes and measure ingredients accurately

    + Basic use of computers, tablets, and scanners for recording production data

    + Proficiency in reading and writing English for reviewing and preparing shipment paperwork

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
