    Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

    Job Description

    As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for conducting routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns. You will develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of equipment and reduce unexpected failures. Additionally, you will diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, perform necessary repairs, and assist in equipment installation and setup.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment.

    + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

    + Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

    + Assist in the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.

    + Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

    + Navigate, maintain, and improve Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) processes.

    + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment-related issues.

    + Conduct work in accordance with lean manufacturing principles and processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.

    + Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.

    + Diagnose and repair electrical issues, minimizing downtime.

    + Install new electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safety compliance.

    + Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase motors, AC/DC motors, control systems, PLCs, and VFDs.

    + Ability to read electrical schematics.

    + PLC troubleshooting with/without a laptop, reading inputs/outputs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in industrial maintenance.

    + Mechanical troubleshooting with hydraulics and pneumatics.

    + Repair of gearboxes, bearings, and chain-driven conveyors.

    + Knowledge of low voltage 24v systems.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is set in an automotive manufacturing environment. All tools are provided, and a yearly fit test is required. The schedule includes a night shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am, with a rotation of 3 days on, 4 days off, followed by 4 days on, 4 days off. A night shift differential is provided once officially moved to the schedule.

    The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $87360.00/yr.
