Job Title: Automated Machinery Operator

Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of gloves for industrial, pharmaceutical, and nuclear sectors, where you will operate and maintain automated machinery to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

+ Operate automated machinery controlled via screen interfaces.

+ Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments using the machine's control screen.

+ Document levels and track cycles of each batch of gloves being produced.

+ Inspect machines and gloves during production cycles.

+ Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while operating equipment.

+ Perform lockout/tagout procedures when moving machinery.

+ Initiate new batches on different machines when current cycles are running.

+ Clean glove production tanks 1-2 times a month.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in machine operation.

+ Proficiency in following SOPs.

+ Keen attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

+ Basic computer skills.

+ Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.

Work Environment

This role operates on a swing shift from Thursday to Monday, 10am to 6:30pm, in a cleanroom environment where wearing lab coats and respirators may be necessary. The team is small, fostering a close-knit atmosphere, and the facility maintains a temperature-controlled setting. Please note that the manufacturing floor may have a paint-like smell.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Marcos, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
