General Laborer -- $20 Per Hour -- First Shift

Job Description

Join our team to assist in the production of precast concrete components for large construction projects. As a General Laborer, you will be involved in various tasks such as producing columns and panel beds, pulling and tying rebar, setting forms, and assisting in cleaning duties as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Lean over and bend throughout the day during tasks.

+ Produce concrete columns and panel beds.

+ Pull and tie rebar efficiently.

+ Set and prepare forms for concrete pouring.

+ Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in construction, landscaping, or concrete work.

+ Proficiency in handling precast concrete, rebar tying, and concrete finishing.

+ Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery.

+ Capability to lift 70lbs consistently and stand for 10 hours a day.

+ 6+ months work experience in a hot and heavy work environment.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled concrete facility with air flow through open-ended buildings. The environment can be warm due to kilns and varies with seasons. Typical work hours are from 5:30am to 2-2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays. Report to a team lead within a team size of 8-12 members. Dress code includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and short-sleeve shirts. Safety glasses, hard hats, and hearing protection are provided as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
