    Aerotek (North Platte, NE)


    Equipment Operator -- Weekly Pay -- up to $20 per hour

     

    Join our team as an Equipment Operator where you will play an essential role in loading, moving, and shipping various products. You will operate machinery such as forklifts and rubber tire front-end loaders to efficiently transport materials within our plant area.

    Responsibilities

    + Load ash into market trucks and/or rail cars.

    + Operate forklifts, rubber tire front-end loaders, motor graders, and semi-trucks within the plant yard.

    + Write appropriate tickets for orders as per requirements.

    + Clean the shop, office, restroom, scale rooms, and equipment regularly.

    + Perform daily maintenance checks on brakes, tires, springs, and engine oil.

    + Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as greasing, changing oil, and changing tires.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 6 months of experience operating equipment.

    + At least 6 months of experience working outdoors.

    + Proficiency in forklift operation, inventory management, picking, packing, loading, packaging, and unloading.

     

    Shift/Hours

     

    You will work normal day hours, typically between 6 am and 6 pm, averaging 40 to 50 hours per week. There may be occasional work on Saturdays and Sundays to load market trucks or dispose of ash. Hours may vary based on daily loading requirements. Dress code includes steel-toed shoes and layered clothing as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
