We are seeking a Quality Control Technician in the local area for a premier employer! Please apply if interested.
Shift: 7am-330pm
Pay: $22-25/hr based on experience
Responsibilities
+ Setup and perform QC testing on cabinet/rack systems.
+ Inspect and calibrate mechanical, electrical, and controls equipment.
+ Review and prepare electrical and mechanical project drawings and documentation.
+ Document all quality testing performed using Word, Excel, and other software.
+ Communicate with Production and Engineering departments regarding system designs and assembly issues.
+ Utilize handheld test equipment such as Multi-Meters and Signal Generators for testing.
+ Assist with minor production and assembly work as needed.
+ Conduct R&D testing, calibration, and minor repairs on environmental analytical test equipment.
+ Participate in annual safety training.
Essential Skills
+ Familiarity with Oscilloscope and Multimeters.
+ Experience in Testing, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance.
+ Proficiency in documentation using MS Word and Excel.
+ Previous experience in quality testing and production/manufacturing.
+ Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical project drawings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of environmental testing systems is beneficial but not required.
+ Prior electrical wiring experience.
+ Ability to use hand and small power tools effectively.
+ Technical degree or technical school training is a plus.
+ Knowledge of computers, PLCs, Modbus, EGD, solenoid valves, and relays.
+ Forklift training/certification is helpful but not required.
+ Ability to assemble electrical and controls equipment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
