Electrical Technician Role

Job Description:

This role involves building, wiring, and modifying industrial control panels and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities:

+ Experience in installing electrical and electronic parts and hardware for hybrid and electric vessels.

+ Build, layout, and wire a variety of industrial control panels including stripping wire, crimping plugs, and pressure plate terminations.

+ Perform physical modifications of enclosures and interior panels, including drilling, tapping holes, and using hole saws and knockouts.

+ Conduct repetitive operations such as soldering wires to terminals and plugs, installing relays, wiring, and stuffing circuit boards.

+ Wire mechanical equipment as required.

+ Use power and hand tools to construct and assemble various structures.

+ Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and diagrams to determine project specifications.

+ Measure and mark materials for cutting and shaping using machining tools and calipers.

+ Assist others where needed and perform tasks assigned by the Engineering department.

+ Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and machining equipment.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, electrical schematics, and diagrams.

+ Experience with electrical work is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
