Hiring Maintenance Technicians in Aurora, CO

The Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of advanced indoor farming systems. This position involves preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and facility equipment within a high-tech, food-safe environment.

**Pay:** $30.00hr - $35.00hr (depending on experience)

**Shift:** 1st shift

Job Description

+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime.

+ Lead or assist in diagnosing complex equipment issues and implementing corrective actions.

+ Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and inspections to identify potential hazards or inefficiencies.

+ Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to manage work orders, schedule PMs, and maintain compliance with KPIs.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization and equipment upgrades.

+ Follow strict safety and food safety protocols, including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

+ Occasionally provide on-call support for off-hour critical repairs and assist with weekend supervision when needed.

Qualifications

+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Strong electrical skills, including reading schematics and using diagnostic tools such as volt/ohm meters (working with 120V, 240V, 480VAC, and 24VDC systems).

+ Some experience with HVAC and hydronic systems preferred.

+ Ability to troubleshoot and maintain a wide range of systems and components, including:

+ Relay logic and ladder diagrams

+ Control components, inputs/outputs, PLCs, and HMIs

+ Pumps, motors, plumbing, and heat exchangers

+ Photoeyes, servo drives, proximity sensors, and VFDs

+ Flow control devices, timers, and related automation equipment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
