    Job Title: CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift

     

    

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a CNC Machinist responsible for making gearboxes used in various industries including logistics, food and beverage, and bulk material handling. You will be instrumental in creating components for conveyors ranging from small grocery store belts to large-scale amusement park systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate different CNC mills and lathes.

    + Perform code editing at the machine using G&M code.

    + Conduct first and last piece quality inspections.

    + Work from blueprints and use micrometers and calipers.

    + On the Vertical Mill: Handle Okuma and Fanuc controls, perform 5 setups per day, and work with parts mostly ranging from 4 to 26 inches in size with thicknesses from ½ to 2.5 inches.

    + On the CNC Lathe: Manage shaft work and Siemens controls, and perform setup and tooling changes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CNC setup and operation with 2 years of experience.

    + Experience with micrometers and calipers.

    + Ability to read blueprints and conduct inspections.

    + Familiarity with manual tooling.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Okuma, Fanuc, and Siemens controls.

    + Experience working with a variety of machine tools including mills, lathes, and broaching machines.

    Work Environment

     

    Work on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday, with overtime available after the shift. Alternatively, join the weekend shift from Friday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:30 PM. You will be working in a large, state-of-the-art facility.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

     

    $2 shift premium for 2nd
