Job Title: Welder - 1st or 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team for the 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience welding on mild steel, be proficient in blueprint reading, and be comfortable with production-based welding. The role will also involve spot and robotic welding, with occasional assistance needed in fabrication. You should be open to cross-training and learning in other departments.

Responsibilities

+ Perform welding tasks on mild steel using MIG techniques.

+ Read and interpret welding blueprints accurately.

+ Engage in production-based welding with attention to detail.

+ Conduct spot and robotic welding as required.

+ Assist in fabrication tasks when needed.

+ Participate in cross-training across different departments.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of experience in MIG welding.

+ Ability to read and interpret weld blueprints for at least 1 year.

+ Proficiency in welding, blueprint reading, and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with grinding and using a tape measure.

+ Willingness to learn and grow into higher levels of welding expertise.

Work Environment

Join a larger facility with 400 employees working across three shifts. The 2nd shift hours are from 4am to 2pm Monday through Thursday, with mandatory hours from 4am to 12pm every Friday, and every other Saturday. Our facility supports a collaborative and dynamic work environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency. We also provide an 8-week training program and a 90-day review to ensure you are well-integrated into our team.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.
