Job Title: Housekeeper - 1st Shift

Job Description

Join our team to support the housekeeping department at a large hospital facility in Washington, DC. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional service throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities

+ Provide cleaning support to various hospital areas including hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas.

+ Change linens, dust surfaces, sanitize spaces, sweep, mop, and remove trash.

+ Deliver excellent customer service and ensure effective communication with staff and patients.

+ Remain flexible and adaptable to perform any necessary tasks to support the team.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of housekeeping experience.

+ Strong customer service experience.

+ Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with co-workers and hospital staff.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Floor technician experience is preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with off days every other weekend. The hospital setting is fast-paced, requiring 30-45 minutes to clean each room and meet hallway cleaning goals. Be prepared for hospital-specific situations and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
