    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Press Brake Operator** to join our metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to technical specifications and blueprints.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, punch, and form metal parts.

    + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine job requirements.

    + Select and install appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and perform test runs.

    + Conduct first-part and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, protractors, micrometers).

    + Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.

    + Maintain equipment through routine checks and minor repairs.

    + Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and meet deadlines.

    + Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + 1–3 years of experience operating press brake machines in a manufacturing environment.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring instruments.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54100.00 - $62400.00/yr.
