Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
In this dynamic role, assemblers are responsible for working from a material list to gather the correct materials, using blueprints and assembly drawings to accurately assemble products, picking and packing supplies, and performing repair operations. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where gathering materials, assembling products, and conducting tests and inspections are key responsibilities across all departments.
Responsibilities
+ Work off a material list to gather correct materials and blueprints for assembly.
+ Assemble products accurately using assembly drawings.
+ Pick and pack supplies for shipment.
+ Perform repair operations as needed.
+ Rotate between three sections on the assembly line: retrieving products from the conveyor belt, assembling handles/pins, and inserting foam and packaging products.
+ Gather proper materials to set up assembly from a conveyor.
+ Use tools, review prints, and measure with a tape measurer to ensure specifications are followed.
+ Conduct tests on products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
Essential Skills
+ Experience using hand and power tools.
+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
+ Ability to work in a collaborative setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Trade school education.
+ Automotive experience.
+ Assembly experience.
+ Blueprint reading.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and organized, with well-lit facilities. Assemblers can choose to work on the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift, with hours from 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, and 10:00pm to 6:00am, respectively. Shifts are available from Monday to Friday, with some shifts extending to Sunday to Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Deerfield, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.20/hr.
