    **Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our Power Distribution team. This role operates on a 1st Shift schedule, from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. You will be responsible for assembling major structures and subassemblies, ensuring accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble major structures and subassemblies using necessary tools and equipment, including hand tools, power tools, torque drivers, and inspection tools.

    + Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established control procedures.

    + Drive a forklift and operate overhead cranes, with provided training.

    + Load and unload trucks.

    + Assist with packaging finished goods as needed.

    Skills & Qualifications

    + 1-3+ years of relevant experience preferred.

    + Mechanical aptitude and precise attention to detail.

    + Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and custom assembly applications.

    + Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and complete multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.

    + Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic schematics.

    + Experience with hydraulics, valves, and troubleshooting.

    + Knowledge of mechanical assembly and power distribution.

    + Familiarity with electrical assembly, wiring, and using blueprints and schematics.

    + Capability to work with sheet metal.

    + Willingness to move to other departments as demand shifts, with cross-training provided.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
