Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machines efficiently and ensuring the production process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

+ Load raw materials into machines.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production.

+ Perform heavy lifting as required during the production process.

+ Conduct visual inspections to maintain quality standards.

+ Engage in preventative maintenance to keep machines in optimal working condition.

+ Utilize hand tools and perform optical inspections as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading.

+ Ability to perform heavy lifting.

+ Hand dexterity for precise machine operation.

+ Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with slitter and production line operations.

+ Computer literacy skills for documenting parts and machine discrepancies.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Work Environment

The role operates within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a start time of 5am. This setting involves handling various machines and tools to ensure smooth production flow.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
