Printer Operator

Responsibilities

+ Read job specifications and procure all applicable tooling.

+ Set up the printing equipment for production runs based on job orders and specifications.

+ Conduct ongoing visual inspection of machines for issues such as leaks or loose belts.

+ Troubleshoot and adjust printing equipment as needed to meet customer specifications.

+ Perform compliance checks with customer specifications and quality standards.

+ Identify and promptly report equipment malfunctions, material, safety, and quality issues to supervisors.

+ Complete production and quality control worksheets accurately.

+ Perform line clearance procedures during product changes and shift changeovers.

+ Comply with company personnel and safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practices.

+ Perform special projects and assignments as directed by supervisory personnel.

+ Observe machine operations and verify conformance of machined workpieces to specifications.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production, blueprint reading, and machine operating.

+ Ability to use calipers, hand tools, inserter machines, and press brakes.

+ Mechanically inclined with strong analytic, mathematical, and communication skills.

+ Detail-oriented and capable of using a tape measure and punch press.

+ 1 year of college technical certificate or 6+ months of printing/manufacturing experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
