    Job Title: Machine Operator

     

    3rd Shift Available: Sunday-Thursday 11pm-7am

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators for our production facility specializing in cookies and snack products. Our facility operates on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, ensuring that we produce and package high-quality products ready for shipment. We offer comprehensive training and opportunities for growth within the company.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and adjust packaging and processing equipment to ensure proper product handling and meet specifications.

    + Perform quality and safety checks, including metal detector tests, code date verification, and documentation.

    + Maintain cleanliness and safety in compliance with GMP standards and report equipment issues promptly.

    + Support efficiency efforts, including reducing waste, assisting with changeovers, and training new employees.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and data entry according to established procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to work well in a team atmosphere.

    + Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and read written instructions.

    + Experience with machine operation and set up, troubleshooting, and lockout/tag out procedures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Some manufacturing experience in a food plant is beneficial.

    + Familiarity with good manufacturing practices and machine calibration.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility operates in a GMP environment, requiring hair and beard nets as well as adherence to other GMP practices. We offer standard 8-hour shifts with every other weekend off. We ensure a clean and safe work environment with a focus on teamwork.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.81 - $20.97/hr.
